Last weekend glass artists Mike Caddy and Jenny Timms, paper sculptor Graham Lester and silk painter Jan Pursey-Grange exhibited and demonstrated at the High Wycombe store. In spite of the beautiful weather keeping many customers outside, the artists had a very enthusiastic response to their work. All artists sold pieces from their exhibitions, gained new contacts and discussed private commissions. Jenny Timms, pictured here, commenting that the exposure was 'very good: being in a store such at JLP adds a certain level of prestige to our work and to us as artists.' Events continue with the autumn weekend on 25/27 September featuring painting, printmaking, ceramics and illustration.
